Fall Family Room

Today we’re moving the fall home tour from our front entryway to our family room. We don’t have to move far since it’s actually the same space.

I don’t like to pick favorites, but our family room is probably my favorite room in the house. It’s what you see as soon as you walk in. It’s a gathering place for friends and family and friends who have become like family. A resting place, where I can put my feet up with a hot cup of coffee first thing in the morning, or relax with a glass of wine at the end of a long day. It’s home to our heavily used fireplace, big comfy couch, much-loved book collection, and countless picture frames full of memories.

This fall, our family room is also home to soft throws, fluffy pillows, crisp leaves, and lots of tiny pumpkins, pinecones, and gourds.

Come on in!

Welcome Friends, Welcome Fall!

  1. This is stunning. You’re inspiring me to get my act together and take my *ahem* Christmas decorations down from last year haha. I was just going to leave them up since it’s so close but I really should redo everything anyways 🙂
